In the role of mechanical designer, you will support our customers with development projects. The projects vary depending on the activity and may, for example, lie within the automotive industry, process industry, automation, machine building, or product development.
The activities may include the design and development of products, tools, production equipment, special machines, robot cells, and automated production lines. The role may also include concept development, detailed design, preparing production drawings, technical documentation, project management, and technical support during installation and implementation.
Assignments can vary from specialist roles within a specific technical field to broad design roles in which you follow projects through the entire process, from idea and concept to a completed solution in production.
What we expect from you
- An academic degree in mechanical engineering, product development, or a similar field.
- A few years of experience working as a mechanical designer or in a similar technical role.
- Experience with 3D-CAD.
- The ability to translate requirements and ideas into technical solutions.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of Swedish and English, fluent in speaking and writing.
