Tasks

• Creation of system and plant descriptions, functional descriptions, operating instructions, as well as maintenance and repair instructions based on technical documents and design databases
• Creation of technical documentation in a proprietary editorial system for interactive electronic technical documentation
• Coordination with internal design departments and external suppliers
• Conducting onboard inspections to verify installation situations, operation, and maintenance measures regarding their feasibility
• Checking technical manuals according to the technical and editorial specifications of the lead editorial department

Profile

• Completed technician training or technical university degree with proven knowledge in the creation of technical documentation and specification according to ASD S1000D
• Several years of professional experience in the field of responsibility, professional experience in naval logistics desirable
• Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form, as well as confident handling of IT systems such as MS-Office, SAP, EPIC and ideally XML-based editorial systems
• Strong technical understanding, preferably specialist knowledge in the technical systems of naval shipbuilding
• Very good written expression, attention to detail, creativity, commitment, as well as high teamwork skills, communication strength, and an independent, structured way of working
