Tasks

• Close cooperation with designers for the detailed design of mechanical solutions for the integration of maritime communication systems as well as the derivation of the associated technical drawings
• Creation and processing of construction documents (2D/3D) according to internal specifications and standards
• Consideration of applicable standards and customer-specific requirements in documentation
• Checking 3D-CAD models for technical and professional accuracy before their release by the designers, as well as ensuring compliance with defined quality criteria
• Creation and maintenance of material data in the corresponding PDM, PLM, and ERP systems

Profile

• Completed vocational training as a technical product designer or comparable qualification as well as experience in the creation and processing of construction documents (2D/3D); career starters are also welcome
• Very good CAD knowledge, preferably with Autodesk Inventor, sound knowledge in standard-compliant drawing creation as well as experience in dealing with relevant drawing standards
• Ideally experience in dealing with PLM and ERP systems, preferably Vault Professional, ARAS Innovator, and SAP S/4HANA
• Ability to create technical documents also in English, as well as basic experience in dealing with MS-Office applications (Word, Excel)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a proactive, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
