Tasks

• System design and integration of command and weapon deployment systems for submarines
• Creation of inquiry and order specifications as well as technical support for purchasing
• Coordination of technical interfaces to other systems
• Planning and execution of interface tests, system tests, reviews, and design training
• Management of suppliers and technical support for internal and external customers at home and abroad

Profile

• Completed degree in engineering sciences (Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Mechatronics, IT, or Physics)
• Several years of professional experience, preferably in a maritime or defense technology environment, with a strong affinity for maritime electronics and confident use of common MS-Office programs
• Desirable knowledge in the field of (underwater) acoustics
• Strong conceptual thinking skills, team and intercultural competence, as well as independent, confident action, high commitment, and very good English skills
• Willingness for occasional business travel
