System/Project Engineer for Reconnaissance Systems (m/f/d) (Engineer - Systems Engineering)

Tasks

• technical project design, system design, and integration of reconnaissance equipment such as periscope/optronics, radar, and electronic support measures ESM on naval units
• analysis of system requirements for the design of reconnaissance equipment as well as creation and evaluation of technical tender specifications, performance descriptions, and testing regulations
• technical coordination with customers, internal specialist departments, system suppliers, and other external partners
• support in EMC and system compatibility analyses
• planning, implementation, and evaluation of acceptance tests at system suppliers as well as on board with proof in port and at sea

Profile

• completed technical studies, preferably in electrical engineering with a specialization in communications and information technology, or a comparable training
• ideally sound knowledge in the use of operational-tactical electronic equipment in naval ship and boat construction as well as experience in complex projects including sound method and tool competence in project management
• ability for cross-system thinking and good technical understanding as well as a methodical, reliable, independent, and team-oriented approach
• high sense of responsibility, resilience, and assertiveness
• very good English skills, high intercultural competence, and excellent communication skills
