Tasks
- Operation, monitoring, and maintenance of electrical systems and installations during sea trials of submarines, both on board and within a submarine maintenance group
- Troubleshooting in the event of malfunctions as well as, if necessary, repair of affected components
- Creation of training documentation and presentations; conducting technical customer training in English
- Writing technical manuals and maintenance documentation as well as evaluating spare parts proposals
- Support for quality assurance activities in connection with logistical delivery services
- Support for the maintenance of special vessels and the possibility of deployment on board a TKMS special vessel as an electrician
- Support for production in STW/HAT projects of submarines
Profile
- Completed training in the electrical engineering field, such as electrician, electrical technician, optionally supplemented by a technician qualification or comparable knowledge
- Basic qualification for submarine operation as well as at least one year of experience on board a submarine
- Watchkeeping qualification for engine department according to STCW95
- Several years of professional experience in the electrical maintenance and repair of naval systems
- Flexibility to switch seamlessly between several months of on-board operation and office work at home and abroad
- Independent, structured way of working with an overview even in changing operational situations
- Team orientation, strong communication skills, and proficient English skills for international cooperation
