Tasks

• Commercial support, consulting, and monitoring of project development in the execution of investment projects
• Determination of project costs and budgets based on defined work packages, maintenance of ongoing reporting, as well as responsibility for the application and ordering process of investment measures
• Creation of controlling key figures from cost calculations and actual costs (SAP), evaluation based on additional key figures, and progress controlling based on work packages
• Monitoring of target/actual deviations, development of corrective measures, as well as planning and controlling of revenue, earnings, cash flow, and cost curves
• Participation in cost reduction concepts and risk assessments, preparation of management reports, decision templates, and meetings, as well as representation of the department towards internal clients regarding budgets and costs

Profile

• Completed degree in economics or engineering with additional business administration qualification
• Initial professional experience in project controlling, ideally in plant/shipbuilding or civil engineering or in a project-oriented matrix organization
• Very good understanding of numbers as well as confident application of MS-Office and SAP (especially the modules CO and FI), supplemented by good English skills
• Strong initiative, conceptual and entrepreneurial thinking, communication strength, independent way of working, and assertiveness
• Team orientation, negotiation skills, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
