Tasks

• Independent identification of optimization projects and optimization topics that have the prospect of short-, medium-, or long-term implementation
• Critical and at the same time diplomatic questioning of existing solutions and structures
• Evaluation or moderation of optimization approaches considering the cost-benefit ratio (Total Cost) as well as independent execution of various cost analyses and preparation of results for further use in projects or negotiations
• Independent conduct of internal and external workshops to achieve a common understanding with all interface partners regarding topics to be addressed and to develop optimization measures
• Close cooperation with the development departments during the entire product creation process and support in the creation and revision of neutral specifications and requirement catalogs

Profile

• Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, information technology, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of development or Value Engineering is desirable
• Very good written and spoken English skills as well as confident handling of common MS-Office applications and SAP
• Good understanding of economic and technical contexts, entrepreneurial thinking as well as analytical, structured working methods, including solution-oriented thinking and acting
• Moderation skills and enjoyment of working in a team, in terms of cooperation, motivation, and coordination
