Tasks

• Support the Security Officer Wedel in the implementation of security measures to protect classified assets
• Analysis, evaluation, and negotiation of security requirements in customer projects, as well as deriving security requirements from customer contracts for purchasing contracts with suppliers
• Representation and mediation of security requirements to customers, security authorities, suppliers, specialist departments, and project management, as well as support in the evaluation, commenting, and advising on contractual security change requests from customers, suppliers, or authorities
• Support in the classification of information assets according to the classification lists in the respective customer projects and conducting internal training on customer-specific security requirements
• Regular participation in further training on security-relevant content and taking on assignments to relieve the Security Officer

Profile

• Successfully completed technical, commercial, or comparable degree and several years of professional experience in project management, ideally in the environment of naval projects
• Initial experience in the areas of Security, Information Security, Security Management, or in comparable disciplines, as well as practical knowledge in the field of naval technology or Security
• Confident handling of MS-Office programs and SharePoint applications, as well as very good written and spoken English skills, preferably legal contract English
• Analytical, conceptual thinking combined with a high degree of independence, structuring, implementation, and enforcement skills, as well as a cross-departmental, solution-oriented way of working towards common goals
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as flexibility, resilience, initiative, willingness to take responsibility, negotiation skills, and a confident appearance
