Tasks

• Execution of all cross-location operational purchasing activities for the assigned product group including corresponding documentation
• Ensuring material availability in the assigned product groups and checking inquiry documents (e.g., specifications, drawings) for completeness
• Independent negotiation with suppliers to clarify deadlines, prices, and other operational purchasing topics
• Coordination with internal interface partners (including production, development, quality) on operational purchasing topics as well as maintenance of operational movement and master data in the tools/systems used
• Participation in the implementation of product group strategies in consultation with Strategic Purchasing and examination as well as clarification of complex differences and deviations

Profile

• Subject-specific (commercial) vocational training
• Many years of professional experience in technical, international purchasing with sound technical knowledge
• Proficient knowledge in SAP, MS-Office and business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
• Structured, process-oriented and analytical way of working, combined with high solution orientation, initiative and negotiation competence
• Strong teamwork and communication skills as well as the ability for interdisciplinary cooperation
