Tasks

• Execution of all cross-location operational purchasing activities for the assigned product group, including corresponding documentation
• Ensuring material availability and checking inquiry documents (e.g., specifications, drawings) for completeness
• Independent negotiation with suppliers regarding deadlines, prices, and operational purchasing topics, and coordination with internal interface partners (production, development, quality)
• Maintenance of operational transaction and master data in the tools/systems used and support for strategic purchasing in the implementation of product group strategies
• Examination and clarification of complex differences and deviations, as well as participation in special projects for the further development of purchasing

Profile

• Subject-specific (commercial) vocational training
• Several years of professional experience in technical, international purchasing with sound technical knowledge
• Proficient knowledge of SAP, MS-Office, and business-fluent English skills in speaking and writing
• Structured, process-oriented, and analytical way of working, combined with high solution orientation, initiative, and negotiation competence
• Strong teamwork and communication skills as well as the ability for interdisciplinary cooperation
