Tasks

• Monitoring and system maintenance in SAP (ordering, production, and other progress or status information), tracking delivery schedules, order confirmations, and certificates, as well as processing associated problem cases
• Clarification of delivery times and material availability, initiation of measures to expedite deliveries, and processing of shortage lists to ensure supply
• Participation in projects within PSM and cross-functionally, identification of improvement potential, as well as independent development and implementation of improvement measures after coordination
• Execution, preparation, moderation, and follow-up of SCM or material control and Shop-Floor/Gemba rounds, recording and prioritizing supply-relevant missing parts, and initiation of countermeasures in case of material shortages
• Technical support within the framework of PPM, in particular the preparation of missing materials from the BANF to delivery or goods receipt, as well as support in material procurement

Profile

• Completed vocational training (e.g., specialist in purchasing and logistics) or at least a three-year specialized vocational training, supplemented by many years of professional experience and special further training
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing and supplier management, particularly in the handling of complex EPC projects and in maritime shipbuilding
• Proficient use of SAP S/4HANA and MS Office; experience with SQL databases and Power BI is desirable
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, initiative, independence, social competence, as well as the ability to guide new employees
• Business fluent English skills as well as willingness to travel
