Tasks

• Developing solution proposals for plants and systems, their constructive implementation into designs and documents, as well as the project planning and creation of associated documentation (e.g., drawings, bills of materials)
• Carrying out design calculations, creating functional sequences, defining work packages, structuring construction documents, as well as developing specifications, quantity frameworks, and requirements for design, manufacturing, and suppliers
• Creating testing specifications, participating in tests or acceptances, checking drawings and bills of materials, as well as making proposals for in-house production versus purchased parts
• Training and educating employees and customers, including the necessary creation of documentation, as well as participation in projects and compliance with and monitoring of general calculative and planning boundary conditions
• Data entry into complex IT systems (especially CAD, SAP) as well as cross-departmental internal coordination and external coordination with customers, suppliers, companies, and authorities

Profile

• Completed studies as a Diplom-Ingenieur:in FH/Uni/TH
• Several years of professional experience as well as shipyard-specific further training in IT, CAD, CAM, and CAE
• Extensive system knowledge combined with sound process and interface knowledge
• Analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills as well as a high degree of initiative, attention to detail, responsibility, and technical understanding
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for guiding employees, assertiveness, and a confident appearance
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form and high willingness to travel, including necessary domestic and international stays
