Tasks
- You will take on deployment as Captain (m/f/d) on submarines during sea trials and sea training.
- If required, you are ready for deployment as Navigator (m/f/d) on submarines as well as Captain/Navigator (m/f/d) on a security vessel.
- You lead a crew and/or an instructor team within the framework of project work.
- You ensure the command of the submarine in accordance with all valid regulations (ISM, ISPS, KWKG, Marinekommando, STCW, MLC, etc.).
- You support the Test Manager (m/f/d) in SAT planning.
- You advise the project on seamanship and nautical matters and create concepts as well as documentation for sea trials and training.
- You are the contact person (m/f/d) for the customer and contribute your submarine expertise to other business areas.
Profile
- You possess the qualification of Submarine Captain (m/f/d) of the Navy or a comparable qualification.
- Optionally, you have a Captain's certificate as well as STCW-relevant certificates.
- You can provide valid proof of sea service, submarine, and submarine rescue training according to the standards of the German Navy.
- You have a confident manner and possess business-fluent English skills in speaking and writing.
- You demonstrate a sense of responsibility, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
- You work independently, analytically, and with a high level of commitment.
- You are willing to travel for business and have experience in commanding a submarine.
