Tasks

• Technical support for one or more subsystems in a system development project, including participation in system specifications, design descriptions, and interface documents according to systems engineering approaches (V-Modell)
• Analysis and evaluation of system concepts as well as system architectures, including support in the selection of suitable devices and sub-suppliers
• Close cooperation with other departments (e.g., development, logistics) and participation in technical meetings
• Participation in bid calculation, creation of system designs, and effort estimations for project activities
• Creation of test documentation and training materials as well as occasional national and international business trips to coordinate with relevant stakeholders and ensure project implementation

Profile

• Completed studies in electrical/communications engineering or a comparable training/qualification; career starters are also welcome
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working, as well as rapid familiarization with new subject matters, systems, and devices, and confident handling of MS-Office applications
• Knowledge of system development according to systems engineering principles (V-Modell) and, advantageously, experience with the requirements management software DOORS
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, professional appearance in customer contact, and appreciation for interdisciplinary cooperation
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing
