Tasks

• Advising specialist departments on occupational safety, accident prevention, and health protection, as well as ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
• Design and further development of the occupational and health protection strategy, derivation and implementation of concrete measures to improve safety standards
• Active participation in risk assessments, safety concepts, and project plans, as well as preparation and support of internal and external audits
• Development of processes, work instructions, as well as briefing and training materials, and conducting training on behavioral and attitude culture
• Training of operators of aerial work platforms, cranes, and industrial trucks, and responsibility for gas monitoring on ships and submarines

Profile

• Completed training as a Meister:in, Techniker:in, or comparable qualification (Engineer, Diplom, Master, Bachelor), ideally with an electrotechnical focus
• Verifiable further training as a Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (DGUVV2), as well as desirable training as a Sicherheits- und Gesundheitskoordinator (RAB30) or willingness to undergo the corresponding qualification
• Qualification or willingness to train operators for aerial work platforms, cranes, and industrial trucks
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, experience with occupational safety management software is an advantage, as well as good English skills in speaking and writing
• Strong organizational and communicative skills, independent and proactive way of working, technical understanding as well as team and cooperation skills, combined with mobility for occasional assignments at other TKMS locations
