Tasks

• Support (if necessary, representation of) the Site Manager as well as technical contact person for the customer (construction shipyard) in design and production planning and in design processes, including design results
• Advising the customer and technical coordination as well as planning of TKMS activities on-site in close interaction with the project team in Germany and the on-site team in Mumbai, coordinated with the Site Manager
• Representation of TKMS interests towards the customer, implementation of safety regulations for TKMS employees as well as monitoring the schedule situation and providing corresponding information to the Site Manager, furthermore proposing measures in case of schedule deviations
• Support in claim management towards customers and suppliers, incl. examination and defense of third-party claims, support of own claims as well as evaluation of customer warranty claims
• Technical coordination and monitoring of commissioned sub-suppliers on-site as well as advisory function in the creation of the test plan (STW, FAT, HAT, SAT) and support for the site report

Profile

• Completed university degree in engineering and many years of professional experience in the field of planning and engineering as well as expertise in planning, design and construction supervision of submarines or ships
• Knowledge in the use of corresponding planning tools and IT skills (MS-Office)
• Experience in contact with international customers and partners, including international experience as well as very good English skills and the ability to convey knowledge in English
• Assertiveness, independence, sense of responsibility, high teamwork and communication skills as well as social competence
• Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as flexibility in dealing with rapidly changing circumstances
