Tasks

• Analysis of the company's import and export processes as well as conceptual elaboration and implementation of necessary changes
• Management and advisory of all projects and company divisions regarding AWG, Dual-Use-Verordnung, KrWaffKontrG as well as current US-American Dual-Use-EAR and ITAR regulations
• Application, administration, and monitoring of export licenses as well as implementation of national, EU, and US export regulations and export classification of all company products in coordination with the technical department
• Participation in development projects regarding export control-relevant topics
• Representation of the company towards ministries, authorities, offices, and interest groups (BMWK, BMVg, BAFA, Zoll, and IHK)

Profile

• University degree in the field of logistics, business administration, or comparable training/further education in the field of import, export, and customs
• Several years of relevant professional experience
• Very good knowledge of AWG, KrWaffKontrG, Dual-Use-Verordnung, EAR, and ITAR as well as confident handling of foreign trade documents and the Union Customs Code
• Very good English skills as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
• Analytical and conceptual skills, good product knowledge, and technical understanding
