Tasks

• Recording, coordination, and demand-oriented provision of the StrategicKeyTechnologies developed, prioritized, and strategically relevant within NavalWeapons product management, involving the EPC chain in multi-project management to ensure their availability
• Overall responsibility for the control and technical leadership of important subcontractors and cooperation partners, as well as moderation and leadership of decision-making and steering committees
• Making strategic decisions based on analyses, evaluations, and continuous monitoring of statuses for internal and external reporting, especially in cases of high technological complexity, stakeholder impact, and business unit political relevance
• Preparation of decision-ready management templates and bringing about robust, cross-divisional decisions, even when facing challenges beyond one's own decision-making scope
• Proactive identification, evaluation, and management of opportunities and risks in the product area; strategic consulting, technical management, and governance of specialist departments and interfaces (product, project, development, purchasing, supplier, and production management); initiation, design, and decision-making regarding process and method improvements throughout the entire value creation process

Profile

• University degree in (business) engineering or a comparable field of study
• Relevant, many years of professional experience in the defined technology area as well as detailed knowledge and technical understanding of the assigned StrategicKeyTechnologies
• Ability to prepare complex matters for management, strong analytical skills, and a confident, binding appearance combined with strong assertiveness
• Business fluent English skills, structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style, as well as a high degree of self-motivation, initiative, and proactivity
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, intercultural competence, an intuition for complex decision-making processes and, if available, a valid qualification certificate according to §20 SprengG
