Tasks

• Recording, coordination, and demand-oriented provision of the Strategic Key Technologies developed and prioritized in Naval Weapons product management, involving the EPC chain in multi-project management to ensure their availability
• Overall responsibility for the control and technical leadership of important sub-suppliers and cooperation partners
• Responsibility for strategic decisions based on analyses, evaluations, and monitoring of statuses for internal and external reporting (high technological complexity, stakeholder impact, business division political relevance) as well as moderation and leadership of decision-making and steering committees
• Preparation of decision-ready management templates and initiation of cross-divisional decisions for challenges beyond one's own decision-making scope, as well as proactive identification, evaluation, and management of opportunities and risks to achieve company goals
• Strategic consulting, technical control, and governance of specialist departments and interfaces (product management, project management, development, purchasing, suppliers, production) as well as initiation and implementation of process and method improvements throughout the entire value chain process

Profile

• University degree in (industrial) engineering or a comparable qualification
• Many years of relevant professional experience in the defined technology area as well as detailed knowledge and sound technical understanding of the assigned Strategic Key Technologies
• Professional, management-ready preparation of complex facts, experience in complex decision-making processes, and business-fluent English skills
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style, high self-motivation, initiative, and proactivity, as well as very good analytical skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with intercultural sensitivity, a confident and binding demeanor, and strong assertiveness
