Tasks

• Functional leadership of interdisciplinary product teams (Product Management, Sales/Marketing, Engineering, Logistics, Project Management) throughout the entire product lifecycle, including information flow and feedback of Lessons Learned to ensure available, profitable, and market-oriented base products
• Implementation of defined product strategies and support in the preparation of market, competitor, and product profitability analyses
• Continuous optimization and increase of the profitability of base products, as well as regular review of customer- and project-specific adaptation requirements and their meaningful integration
• Economic responsibility for base product development, including budget planning and monitoring (R&D, CAPEX)
• Planning, creation, and adaptation of product artifacts according to the product management process, as well as preparation and support in the defense of decision templates in close cooperation with internal decision-makers

Profile

• University degree in business or engineering sciences, mathematics, physics, computer science, or information technology, as well as basic training in product management
• Several years of professional experience in projects (e.g., as Project Manager, Technical Manager, Logistic Engineering Manager, or Sales Manager), in product management, Systems Engineering, or comparable applications
• Sound product or system knowledge and a good understanding of military requirements and their application, as well as initial international and intercultural experience
• Business-fluent English skills, strong customer and service orientation, team, communication, and conflict resolution skills, as well as experience in presentations and understanding of business contexts
• Entrepreneurial mindset, high self-motivation, capacity for innovation (Entrepreneurship), as well as a high degree of initiative and willingness to take responsibility
