Tasks
As Product Architect (m/f/d) SeaFox, you will undertake the following tasks:
- Technical leadership of engineering teams throughout the entire product lifecycle of the respective base products to ensure the performance and maintainability of market-ready base products.
- Analysis of customer and stakeholder requirements as well as customer missions, in order to derive both operational concepts (OpsCon) and all requirements of internal and external stakeholders for the system.
- Creation of specifications and technical concepts.
- Ensuring continuous optimization of performance as well as regular review of customer/project-specific technical adjustment requirements for meaningful implementation in sea mine identification and warfare.
- Ensuring the technical usability of the product in customer projects.
- Planning, creation, and adjustment of the product according to the product management process.
- Technical support of product development and, if necessary, adjustment of the current implementation (design) for product optimization and increased usability.
Profile
- University degree in the field of engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or information technology.
- Professional experience as a Technical Manager in projects with maritime application or in the field of system design/development.
- Requirements Engineering (ideally INCOSE certified).
- Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Good knowledge of the required applications (DOORS, Office and ideally MagicDraw).
- Experience in leading product teams.
- Comprehensive product or system knowledge, ideally knowledge of the operational use of the systems.
- Very good English skills.
- Strong customer and service orientation.
- High level of teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- International and intercultural experience.
- High degree of independence, initiative, and responsibility.
- Willingness to undertake occasional national as well as international business trips is required.
