Tasks

• Analysis of product/component requirements as a basis for sound technical concepts
• (Further) development and/or selection of electronic components, taking into account functional, economic, and scheduling aspects
• Carrying out design analyses of products and/or components to ensure technical feasibility and quality
• Coordination of the development of individual components as part of naval systems, as well as responsibility for the integration of the developed components into existing or new system architectures
• Independent documentation and analysis of work results within the framework of development processes, as well as creation of moderate hardware specifications/manufacturing documents for smooth handover to production and quality assurance, including reporting to the process organization

Profile

• Completed university degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or mechatronics with initial professional experience or alternatively a completed electrical engineering vocational training followed by further training as a technician and several years of professional experience
• Knowledge of methods for the analysis and design of distributed systems
• Understanding of development processes for electronic assemblies (from conception through development to verification and series production)
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, SAP and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Independent, structured way of working, very good communication skills and assertiveness in heterogeneous groups, as well as good written and spoken English skills
