8 weeks worldwide, 2 weeks off - Supervisor (m/f/d) in international plant engineering (Montageleiter/in (Bau))
Montageleiter (m/f/d) in international plant engineering: Make a difference worldwide Travel share: approx. 90 % in Asia, Africa and South America Deployment rhythm: up to 8 weeks abroad, followed by 2 weeks off
Do you want to do more than just participate on international construction sites, but rather make decisions, lead teams and see what has been created through your commitment in the end?
As a Montageleiter, you are the central contact person on site. You coordinate employees, customers and partner companies, solve operational challenges and ensure that technical designs are transformed into reliably functioning plants.
Your deployment follows a transparent rhythm: You work for up to eight weeks on international construction sites and subsequently receive two weeks of free time. This way, you know well in advance when intensive project phases are approaching and when time for recovery, family and personal plans is scheduled.
At the Beilngries location, around 360 employees develop machines and plants for grain processing as well as for the malting and brewing sectors. The company combines more than 160 years of experience with modern technology, international cooperation and long-term security.
Your tasks – You control the success on site
- You organize and lead the assembly and commissioning of machines and plants on international construction sites.
- You coordinate assembly teams, subcontractors, customers and internal project management.
- You plan workflows and monitor deadlines, quality, material usage and construction progress.
- You make operational decisions and develop pragmatic solutions for technical or organizational challenges.
- You ensure compliance with work and safety regulations and accompany partial and final inspections.
- You conduct construction site meetings and customer site visits and document the project results.
Your profile – Experience counts more than perfection
- You have completed vocational or technical training, for example in plant engineering, metal construction or mechanics.
- You bring at least three years of experience in construction site assembly, ideally in machine or plant engineering.
- You want to take responsibility for teams, processes and results and present yourself convincingly to customers.
- You work in an organized and solution-oriented manner and maintain an overview even under time pressure.
- You have English skills with which you can conduct construction site meetings, coordinate technical matters and understand project documentation.
- Since you support the projects directly on site, you are prepared for international travel of around 90 % and for deployments of up to eight weeks. For independent mobility at the deployment sites, you possess a driving license of class B.
- Do you not fulfill every point completely? Apply anyway. What matters is your practical experience, your technical understanding and your willingness to take on responsibility.
