Your Tasks

  • Control and coordination of commissioning subcontractors within your own area of responsibility to achieve project goals.
  • Technical supervision of mechanical and electrical commissioning in accordance with project requirements.
  • Project management and control, in particular:

  • Progress control and forecasting,

  • Review of Method Statements (work and execution concepts) submitted by subcontractors regarding compliance with site regulations and work permit procedures.
  • Recording and reporting of defects as well as initiation of project-specific solution measures using the specified processes and tools.
  • Development and coordination of suitable measures to eliminate identified defects.
  • Processing of hourly wage work, variations, technical changes, and site setup.
  • Support in processing insurance cases.
  • Feedback on improvement potential in the sense of "Lessons Learned".
  • Training and technical support for employees.
  • Escalation of problems that cannot be solved on-site to the project team as well as initiation of stakeholder management.
  • Responsibility for compiling the testing documentation, including the As-Built documentation.
  • Performance of duties as the responsible commissioning engineer in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
  • Management of subcontractors, in particular:
  • Conducting kick-off meetings with the commissioned subcontractors,
  • Monitoring the compliance of planning, execution, and testing processes according to the Field Quality Plan (FQP),
  • Review of the commissioning and resource planning of subcontractors as well as development of suitable countermeasures in case of deviations,
  • Regular coordination meetings with subcontractors (status meetings, discussion of relevant variation events, progress and cost control, updating performance levels, variation negotiations, etc.),
  • Acceptance of deliveries and services provided by subcontractors,
  • Carrying out inspections, tests, and acceptances as well as handover to the rest of the commissioning team,
  • Contract conclusion and completion of subcontractor services.

Your Profile

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in the field of Technical Building Services (TGA).
  • Ideally at least five years of professional experience in a comparable position.
  • Good knowledge of applicable regulations in the field of occupational safety and accident prevention.
  • Sound technical knowledge in the field of building and supply technology.
  • Good knowledge and practical experience in the installation of building technology systems.
  • Experience in leading and coordinating subcontractor teams.
  • Strong team orientation as well as good written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in technical leadership as well as strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Good English skills in speaking and writing; additional German skills are an advantage.
  • Intercultural competence.
  • Knowledge of international health, safety, and environmental standards (HSE/EHS).
  • Knowledge of relevant international norms and standards.
  • Basic knowledge in the field of electrical installation is an advantage.
