Your Tasks Project Scope - S4E Program

• S4E is the largest business and IT transformation program at Siemens Energy. The goal is to create a future-proof ERP landscape that enables AI-supported solutions and operational excellence.
• The existing SAP landscape is being consolidated onto SAP S/4HANA across 23 end-to-end processes based on an implemented S/4HANA template.
• The position is intended for a Rollout Project Manager. Tasks include the creation and implementation of the overarching rollout planning, ensuring rollout schedules and the availability of required resources, as well as risk and stakeholder management.

Tasks in Project Management

• Development of a detailed rollout plan at the local level, including all activities required for a successful rollout implementation, in coordination with the overarching S4E rollout project plan.
• Planning and monitoring of the project budget at the rollout level, as well as the creation of financial reports together with the business.
• Monitoring the rollout of specific end-to-end processes and controlling the full implementation of local requirements (localizations) together with the Business Cluster Manager.
• Planning of project phases, including individual work packages, and coordination of the project plan with Team Leads, members of the Business Core Team, Template-SPOCs, the SAP Template Organization, and all relevant stakeholders.
• Coverage of all classic project management tasks, including the control of the project schedule, detailed work plan, risks, issues, budget, costs, testing, and cutover.
• Ensuring the coordination of the IT infrastructure setup and controlling design approvals in accordance with SAP S/4HANA guidelines.
• Commissioning and coordination of external partners and consultants to support project activities.
• Ensuring compliance with the PM@Siemens-Energy-IT project methodology, including meeting Quality Gate requirements and regular reporting on project status and progress.
• Preparation and moderation of Steering Committee meetings and ensuring that all decisions are documented and recorded in an actionable manner.
• Monitoring project progress based on milestones and deliverables, as well as regular creation of status reports for Rollout Management and the stakeholder organization. Alignment with operational and strategic goals must be ensured.
• Leading and coordinating the rollout teams to enable a smooth and successful transition to the new S4E template.

Your Profile

• Several years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
• Sound knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP rollout management.
• Experience as a Project Manager in SAP projects.
• Experience in agile projects, particularly with User Stories and Jira.
• Experience in global organizations and in working with cross-functional teams with the goal of harmonizing processes.
• Several successfully completed full-cycle projects as an IT Project Manager.
• Experience with complex projects, particularly with complex governance structures and a large number of stakeholders with different objectives.
• Very good English skills are mandatory. German skills are an additional advantage.
• Excellent communication skills at all stakeholder levels.
