Controller (m/f/d) (Controller/in)
We are looking for you for our client, one of the leading transmission system operators in Europe!
Your Tasks
- As a Finance Project Controller (m/f/d), you will be primarily responsible for active cost management by monitoring, coordinating, and questioning financial matters, preferably at the (sub-)project level
- Conducting and questioning planning, analyses, and calculations of all financial data in projects (e.g., budget, forecasts, liquidity) including scenario analysis
- Supporting the creation of approval documents (e.g., budget releases, change requests, etc.) for various committees and management
- Monitoring and accompanying project-related actual values, purchase orders, invoices, accruals, etc.
- Questioning and checking forecasts (short-, medium-, and long-term planning) and aggregating figures into quality-assured budget/forecast reports
- Analyzing the financial progress of project activities, establishing the connection to construction progress, and actively reporting deviations from planning
- Creating timely and appropriate management and project reports on the financial progress of project activities
- Supporting financial audit processes
- Evaluating the risk portfolio (created by the risk manager) and incorporating it into the forecast
- Contributing to project-related cross-departmental planning and control activities such as cash flow forecasts, quarterly reports, and the budgeting process
- "Harmonizing" cost forecasting and scheduling
- Active point of contact (m/f/d) for financial supplier matters and interface to Supply Chain, Contract, and Claim Management
Your Profile
- Successfully completed studies in finance, business administration, or comparable
- Sound professional experience in Controlling / accounting
- Fluent English skills
- Knowledge of the energy sector is an advantage
- Advanced experience in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP (CO/FI/MM/PS/PM/BI), knowledge of Access and VBA is an advantage
- Teamwork skills
- High sense of responsibility for one's own actions as well as towards internal and external parties
- Hands-on mentality to improve the quality of processes and services
- Independent way of working
- Very good communication, analytical, and challenging skills
