Audit Assistant Manager

Our client, a UK professional services firm offering audit, tax, accountancy, advisory, outsourcing and wealth management, is looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join their London team.

What The Job Actually Involves

• Managing audit engagements from planning through to completion, taking ownership of client relationships
• Supervising and developing junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their progression
• Liaising directly with clients across a range of sectors, understanding their businesses and identifying areas of risk
• Ensuring audits are completed to a high technical standard, on time and on budget
• Reporting to Audit Managers and Partners on engagement progress and key findings
• Contributing to business development and helping to identify opportunities within existing client relationships

What You'll Need

• ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with solid external audit experience
• Proven experience managing audit teams and client relationships
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
• Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients
• Ambition to progress within a firm that's actively investing in growth
