We are looking for a strong communicator, an Automation Technician (m/f/d), for our client, a leading manufacturer in plant engineering. The position is to be filled within the framework of temporary employment. The annual compensation is between 45,000 Euro and 47,000 Euro, depending on experience and qualification. What you will do

• Development and project planning of complex control and regulation systems to implement customer-specific solutions
• Programming and commissioning of PLC controls as well as visualization systems for industrial furnace systems and their periphery
• Carrying out software tests before delivery
• Support and execution of commissioning at home and abroad
• Documentation of systems as well as creation of operating and maintenance instructions in accordance with CE specifications
• Coordination and support of external partners in the field of automation
• Design and further development of company-specific software for the operation and visualization of systems
• Maintenance and further development of software standards for our machines and assemblies

About the client

Our client is a renowned company from the plant engineering sector. What you should bring

• Completed studies in Electrical Engineering or further training as a Technician (m/f/d) with a focus on Electrical Engineering
• Several years of professional experience in the field of heavy machinery and plant engineering, ideally in furnace construction
• Sound knowledge in the design, construction, calculation, and commissioning of industrial plants
• Experience in hazard analyses as well as in the design of safety-related equipment
• Good CAD knowledge as well as experience in handling production planning and control systems (PPS)
• Confident handling of MS-Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and abroad
