YOUR TASKS

• Responsibility for the strategic further development of the procurement of production-relevant materials
• Development of innovative procurement approaches to ensure security of supply, economic efficiency, and sustainability
• Monitoring and evaluating relevant markets to derive recommendations for action and optimization measures
• Active design and expansion of a high-performance supplier network
• Strategic development of supplier relationships with a focus on quality, innovation, and competitiveness
• Independent management of tenders as well as negotiation of prices, contracts, and delivery terms
• Identification and realization of savings potential as well as optimization of processes within the supply chain
• Competent interface between purchasing, specialist departments, and external partners, as well as participation in cross-departmental initiatives and projects.

YOUR PROFILE

• Sound practical experience in strategic purchasing, ideally within a manufacturing company or the food industry
• Analytical thinking, negotiation skills, and a strong ability to develop and implement sustainable solutions
• Routine handling of ERP systems as well as common MS-Office applications
• Strong-communication personality with a confident appearance and enjoyment of collaborating with different stakeholders
• Willingness to undertake occasional national and international business trips
• Basic knowledge in the areas of contract management and project work
• Business fluent English in speaking and writing for collaboration in an international procurement environment.
