Groundworker

Trafford Park Competitive Hourly Rate (DOE) 7:30am - 4:00pm 5+ Weeks Duration Immediate Start Available

The Opportunity Time Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker on behalf of a client working on a civil engineering project in Trafford Park. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy site for a minimum of 5 weeks, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of groundworks on a live construction site
• Installing drainage systems and associated pipework
• Stoning, grading and preparing sub-base materials
• Completing concreting and finishing works
• Assisting with excavation and reinstatement works
• Working safely and efficiently as part of the site team
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Proven experience in groundworks on construction or civil engineering projects
• Experience with drainage installation
• Knowledge of stoning and sub-base preparation
• Experience carrying out concreting works
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
• A civil engineering or heavy civils background would be highly advantageous
• Valid CSCS Card (preferred)
