Gatesman / Gate Operative Salford Quays, Manchester (M50 3AX) £16.80 per hour 7:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday 40-Week Contract Immediate Start Available

The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Gatesman / Gate Operative to join a busy construction project in Salford Quays .

This is a long-term opportunity offering 40 weeks of work on a well-established site. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling access to the site, ensuring only authorised personnel and visitors enter the premises, and maintaining a safe and secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing access to and from the construction site
• Checking and monitoring site visitors and deliveries
• Ensuring only authorised personnel gain entry
• Maintaining visitor and delivery records
• Acting as the first point of contact for site arrivals
• Reporting any security concerns or incidents to site management
• Supporting overall site safety and security procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Gatesman, Gate Operative, Traffic Marshall, Security or similar site-based role preferred
• Valid CSCS Card
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and follow site procedures
• Construction site experience advantageous
