We're seeking an ambitious Enforcement Solicitor to join a well-established and growing Liverpool-based law firm. Working within a specialist Enforcement Team, you'll take ownership of a varied caseload focused on debt recovery, costs recovery, and enforcement matters, playing a critical role in securing successful outcomes for clients.
The Role
As an Enforcement Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload while working closely with clients, courts, defendants, and enforcement agents. You'll be responsible for progressing matters efficiently, maximising recoveries, and ensuring all enforcement action is handled professionally and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of debt recovery and enforcement matters
- Reviewing settlement agreements, judgments, Court Orders, and costs schedules
- Monitoring payment deadlines and taking action on overdue sums
- Drafting letters before action and formal demands
- Recovering damages, legal costs, and disbursements
- Issuing Part 8 Proceedings and enforcement applications
- Preparing N260 schedules
- Liaising with clients, defendants, courts, and third parties
- Managing matters to strict deadlines while maintaining excellent client service
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate in England & Wales
- Strong experience within debt recovery, civil litigation, costs recovery, or enforcement
- Excellent knowledge of County Court procedures
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and case management skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to achieving results
- Experience using Proclaim Case Management system would be advantageous
