Electrical Improver

Location: Leeds

Rate: Up to £22.00 per hour

Start Date: 09 November 2026

Duration: 2 Weeks

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30am to 3:30pm

The Role

Time Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Improver for a commercial fit-out project within a café environment Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable electrical contractor on a short-term commercial installation project, working alongside a professional site team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assisting with 2nd fix electrical installations
• Installation and routing of wiring systems
• Basket and containment installation work
• Supporting electricians with commercial fit-out activities
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience as an Electrical Improver within commercial environments
• Experience working on retail, hospitality, or coffee shop fit-out projects preferred
• ECS Card or equivalent electrical certification
• CSCS Card
• Own tools
• Own transport
• Understanding of electrical installation methods and procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Health & Safety / PPE

A full site induction will be provided on your first day, covering all site-specific health and safety requirements, emergency procedures, and fire evacuation routes.

• Safety Boots
• Hi-Vis Vest
• Hard Hat
