The Events, Programming & BusinessDevelopment Executive is responsible for managing assigned events, developing revenue opportunities and supporting entertainment programming and production activities across the company’s venues. The role covers the end-to-end coordinationof corporate events, venue rentals, private functions, selected ticketed programmes and commercial partnerships, from initial enquiry through execution and post-event follow-up. This is a commercially driven role withaccountability for assigned sales and revenue targets. The Executive will workclosely with internal departments, clients, artistes, technical personnel,vendors, sponsors and external partners to support the growth of the Music,Content & Events (MCE) portfolio. The position is eligible for commission onqualifying revenue in accordance with the Company’s prevailing commissionscheme. Key Responsibilities

  1. Events & Client Management

Manage assigned corporate functions, venue rentals, private events, activations and ticketed programmes from enquiry through event completion. Liaise directly with clients to understand event objectives, requirements, budgets and timelines. Conduct client meetings, site inspections and event briefings where required. Prepare event proposals, quotations, timelines, run sheets and operational requirements. Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, Finance, Technical teams and external vendors to ensure smooth event delivery. Coordinate venue setup, manpower, equipment, production and event logistics. Be present on-site for assigned events and manage client and operational requirements during execution. Resolve event-related issues promptly and escalate matters where necessary. Ensure assigned events comply with venue requirements, operational procedures, safety standards and applicable licensing requirements. Conduct post-event follow-up and identify opportunities for repeat business and service improvement.

  1. Business Development & Revenue

Develop new business opportunities through corporate events, venue rentals, private functions, sponsorships and commercial partnerships. Respond promptly to incoming event and venue enquiries. Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event organisers, agencies and business partners. Prepare and present proposals, quotations, event budgets and commercial packages. Manage commercial discussions and negotiate within approved pricing and commercial guidelines, escalating exceptions for approval. Follow up actively on proposals and enquiries to improve sales conversion. Maintain an updated sales pipeline covering enquiries, proposals, confirmed events and prospective opportunities. Identify opportunities for repeat business, account development and long-term client relationships. Achieve assigned individual and/or team revenue targets. Identify opportunities to improve event profitability and maximise revenue from assigned accounts and events.

  1. Sponsorship & Commercial Partnerships

Identify potential sponsors, brand partners and commercial collaboration opportunities. Develop or support the preparation of sponsorship proposals and activation packages. Liaise with sponsors and partners on agreed requirements, timelines and deliverables. Coordinate with Marketing and Operations to ensure agreed brand visibility and activation requirements are fulfilled. Maintain sponsor and partner relationships before, during and after events. Explore additional revenue opportunities through brand activations, collaborations and commercial initiatives.

  1. Entertainment & DigitalProgramming

Coordinate resident band, artiste and entertainment schedules across assigned venues. Maintain programming calendars, artiste schedules and related documentation. Liaise with bands, artistes, agents and relevant partners on bookings, schedules and performance requirements. Coordinate artiste agreements and administrative requirements where applicable. Support the development of entertainment concepts aligned with venue positioning, audience profiles and business objectives. Monitor audience response, customer feedback and programme performance. Recommend programming improvements or new entertainment formats for management review. Support livestreaming, TikTok Live and other digital entertainment initiatives where applicable. Coordinate talent, scheduling and production requirements for digital programming. Explore opportunities to improve audience engagement and commercial value through digital content.

  1. Technical & ProductionCoordination

Coordinate technical production requirements for assigned events, entertainment programmes and venue activations. Liaise with internal technical personnel, sound engineers, vendors and contractors. Ensure event technical requirements are confirmed in advance and equipment is ready for use. Coordinate technical systems including: LED walls Resolume Media Server Projectors and presentation systems Audio systemsMultimedia and visual equipment Where trained, support basic operation, setup, testing and troubleshooting of technical systems. Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate technical personnel or vendor. Support consistent production and technical standards across assigned events.

  1. Sound Engineering Coordination

Coordinate sound engineer schedules and manpower deployment for regular programming and special events. Ensure sufficient technical coverage is arranged based on event and venue requirements. Verify attendance and deployment records for sound engineers. Submit accurate attendance and payroll-related records to the relevant department for processing. Communicate event schedules and technical requirements clearly to assigned technical personnel. Provide basic operational or technical support during events where trained and required. Highlight recurring technical or manpower issues and recommend process improvements.

  1. Major Events & Team Support

Work collaboratively with the MCE team on major festivals, flagship events and company-wide activations. Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliverables. Support projects from concept development through planning, execution and post-event review. Coordinate with internal departments, venue stakeholders, vendors, artistes and external partners. Ensure assigned timelines, budgets and operational requirements are met. Provide support to other team members during major or high-volume event periods where required.

  1. Financial & AdministrativeResponsibilities

Prepare quotations, invoices, purchase requirements and event-related documentation accurately and on time. Maintain proper records of enquiries, client communications, contracts, schedules and event documents. Track revenue, direct event costs and assigned event expenditure. Monitor event profitability against approved quotations and budgets. Follow up on outstanding documentation, deposits and payment requirements with relevant stakeholders. Support monthly revenue tracking and performance reporting. Provide inputs for departmental budgeting and business planning where required. Revenue Growth Responsibilities The Executive is expected to contribute to the commercial growth ofthe MCE portfolio through: Corporate events Venue rentals Private functions Ticketed programmes Sponsorships Entertainment programming Brand activations Commercial partnerships The Executive should actively identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve venue utilisation, generate repeat business and enhance even tprofitability while maintaining service and operational standards. Key Performance Indicators Performance may be assessed based on: Achievement of assigned individual and/or team revenue targets Sales conversion and development of the business pipeline Event profitability and cost management Successful execution of assigned events and programmes Client satisfaction and repeat business Sponsorship and commercial opportunities generated Timeliness and accuracy of quotations, proposals and event documentation Contribution to programming, technical operations and overall MCE performance Remuneration & Commission The position comprises a fixed monthly salary together with eligibility for sales commission. Commission may apply to qualifying revenue generated from approved revenue streams including: Corporate events and functions Venue rentals Private events Sponsorships Commercial partnerships Other approved revenue-generating opportunities Commission eligibility, revenue attribution, calculation, qualifying conditions, exclusions and payment arrangements will be governed separately by the Company’s prevailing commission scheme. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Events Management, Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Media, Communications or a related discipline preferred. Relevant experience in events, hospitality, entertainment, venue operations, sales or business development would be advantageous. Strong coordination, organisation and time-management skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Confident in dealing with clients, artistes, vendors and internal stakeholders. Commercially minded with a strong interest in sales and business development. Able to manage multiple events, enquiries and priorities concurrently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and operational environment. Willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays where required for events and entertainment programmes. Basic understanding of audio-visual or live entertainment production would be advantageous. Knowledge of LED walls, Resolume, audio systems or livestreaming would be an added advantage. Hands-on, resourceful and able to respond calmly to changes during live events.
