CAD Engineer

What is required?

• MBO or HBO working and thinking level
• At least 5 years of work experience in a similar role
• Experience with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Solid Edge, NX) and 2D CAD software (AutoCAD, DraftSight)
• Experience in creating technical drawings for the fabrication of mechanical steel structures
• Good command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Willingness to work in a team, ability to work accurately, clear communication skills (SMART) and ability to work with schedules and deadlines

• €3,600 - €4,500 gross p/m (depending on knowledge and experience)
• 32 to 40-hour work week

As a CAD Engineer at TILLEN, you are responsible for the development and quality of 3D designs. You start with the basic design and develop it into a detailed design using the design checklists relevant to the industry in which we operate. Active communication and interdisciplinary collaboration are essential to deliver an optimal final product to our customers. You ensure the quality and correct setup of production drawings and 3D models, which serve as final products.

Using the final CAD models, you prepare the technical drawings in collaboration with the Design Engineer and ensure that the control workflow is followed once the final drawings have been prepared. You process the results of the checks and deliver the final results to the project owner.
