TIKK TAKK is looking for an Expediter within Oil & Gas
Do you have experience in following up with suppliers and manufacturing within the oil and gas industry? TIKK TAKK is looking for an Expediter for a consulting assignment at an international player that delivers advanced equipment to the energy sector.
About the assignment
You will strengthen the project team in two ongoing Oil & Gas projects and follow up with suppliers in Europe. Your focus is to monitor manufacturing progress, identify obstacles, and contribute to ensuring equipment is delivered according to project schedules and technical requirements.
You will receive an introduction from an experienced Expediter, with whom you will then share the workload.
Your tasks
- Follow up on suppliers' production, schedules, and delivery status.
- Visit European suppliers and check manufacturing progress.
- Inspect equipment during manufacturing, for example process equipment, materials, welding and/or electrical installations.
- Identify deviations and delays as well as follow up on actions.
- Report status and risks to the project team.
We are looking for you who have
- At least ten years of experience in quality or technology within the oil and gas industry.
- Previous experience in expediting within Oil & Gas.
- Practical experience in inspecting equipment during manufacturing.
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
You work in a structured manner, communicate clearly, and are confident in driving the follow-up forward together with suppliers and project colleagues.
Practical information
The assignment begins with six months and is expected to last a total of twelve months. Travel within Europe comprises approximately 25–50 percent of the working time. The location is flexible and does not require constant presence at the client's office.
