Senior specialist in environment and work environment – Västerås

TIKK TAKK is seeking a senior specialist in environment, health, and safety for a consulting assignment at Hitachi Energy Sweden AB. The assignment is suitable for you who want to develop safe work environments and contribute to structured environmental and safety work.

Location: Västerås, with travel to several facilities in Sweden Extent: Preliminarily approximately 50 % Work form: Primarily on-site. Some remote work within Sweden may be possible.

About the assignment

You will work with environmental issues and employee health and safety, focusing on identifying risks, preventing incidents, and developing routines. The responsibility covers both the work environment and the business's environmental impact on the surroundings.

The role involves close collaboration with technical functions, management, authorities, and other relevant stakeholders. You will contribute specialist knowledge and help the business translate requirements and guidelines into daily work.

Your tasks

Develop and implement policies and working methods to identify and reduce environmental and work environment risks.

Investigate accidents and environmental incidents and suggest measures to prevent them from recurring.

Collaborate with engineers, management, and supervisory authorities regarding causes, risks, and improvement measures.

Provide advice and training regarding safety routines.

Conduct audits and check compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Maintain dialogue with the local community, environmental organizations, and other stakeholders affected by the business's environmental impact.

Support environmental and work environment work at several facilities in Sweden.

Your profile

We are looking for you with senior competence in environment, health, and safety. You are accustomed to identifying risks, investigating incidents, and supporting businesses in preventive work.

For the assignment, it is required that you:

Communicate fluently in English, both orally and in writing.

Are resident in Sweden.

Have Swedish citizenship according to the client's requirements.

Can travel between different facilities in Sweden.

Conditions for the assignment

Before the assignment starts, you will need to undergo a drug test, have a valid SSG Entré certificate, and sign a non-disclosure agreement.

The assignment requires employment with TIKK TAKK. Sub-consultants via additional company layers are not accepted by the client.
