Business Controller within R&D for consulting assignment – Södertälje (Stockholm)

Do you want to work close to research and development and contribute with financial insights? Tikk Takk is looking for a Business Controller for a consulting assignment with our client in Södertälje.

About the assignment In this role, you will become an important business partner to managers within research and development, R&D. You will support the operations with financial analysis, financial controlling, and decision support that contributes to well-founded priorities and improved results.

You report to Head of R&D Controlling and actively participate in management groups. The work involves close collaboration with R&D, other controlling functions, and contact points in an international organization.

Your main tasks:

• Work with financial planning, budget, and forecasts.
• Produce financial analyses, business calculations, and scenario analyses as support for decisions.
• Follow up on key performance indicators as well as compile and present financial results.
• Support R&D leaders in strategic decisions, financial priorities, and operational follow-up.
• Contribute to the development of processes, methods, and tools for controlling within R&D.

You thrive on collaborating across functional boundaries and have an interest in electrification, battery technology, and the transition within the industry for commercial vehicles.

We are looking for you who has:

• A Master's or Civil Engineer degree in economics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• At least three years of experience in Business Controlling, preferably five years or more.
• Experience supporting senior decision-makers and management groups in a complex, international environment.
• The ability to translate financial analyses into insights and actions that improve the business results.
• Very good analytical and digital skills as well as advanced knowledge in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
• Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.

Experience with SAP is a strong merit. Knowledge of Swedish is also a merit.

Scope and location

• Assignment type: Consulting assignment through Tikk Takk.
• Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Location: Södertälje (published under Stockholm), hybrid with three days per week on-site.
• Start: According to agreement.
• Assignment end date: 31 December 2026.
• Interview: Preferably conducted on-site.
