DevOps Engineer / Software Engineer - Tegucigalpa

Job Objective

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications, APIs, and automated processes, ensuring their correct integration with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platforms. Will participate in the entire software lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production deployment, guaranteeing scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications, APIs, and web services.
• Design scalable solutions based on microservices and containers.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Administer cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Execute testing, maintenance, and optimization of applications.
• Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Apply best practices in development, security, and DevOps.

Requirements

• Engineering in Systems, Informatics, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software development and agile methodologies.
• Experience in Node.js, Java, or PHP.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and SOAP services.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (indispensable).
• Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in CI/CD, automation, and DevOps.
• Intermediate English indispensable.
