Your tasks

Overview We have an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified Accountant to broaden their commercial experience and make a meaningful impact beyond traditional finance roles.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant to gain a founder’s perspective on a multi-billion-dollar portfolio across India and Africa and contribute to financial and strategic decisions.

Responsibilities..

Requirements

• Prepare financial briefings for the Chairman’s meetings with business leaders.
• Build financial models and valuations to support M&A and capital allocation decisions.
• Benchmark portfolio performance against global peers and track market trends.
• Gain unparalleled exposure to multi-billion-dollar P&Ls, M&A, major projects, people policies, government affairs, and strategic and ESG transformations across critical minerals, hydrocarbons and energy portfolios.

• Qualified: ACA, CA or ACCA qualified, ideally newly qualified or with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Analytical: Strong financial modelling, valuation and reporting skills, with the ability to use technology and AI tools to work more efficiently.
• Agile and fast-paced: Excellent communication and prioritisation skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

What we offer

Initial 6 month contract with potential for permanent £50,000 - £60,000

The role will begin as an initial 6–12 month placement with competitive compensation and potential for extension into a permanent role.
