Tasks

Do you want to develop personally and professionally in an international environment in the field of trading? Then our 18-month trainee program is just right for you! In addition to exciting projects and an intensive training on the job phase, you can expect a multi-week stay abroad, for example in Australia, Singapore, or the USA.

• As a trainee (m/f/d), you will go through all relevant areas and gain a very good overview of the organization and the topics that move us all in international trade
• You will be systematically introduced to the versatile field of activity of your new role through "training on the job" - here you will learn how the trading business works and how deals are closed
• In doing so, you will be in constant contact with your suppliers and customers and thus get to know the purchasing and sales sides
• This will perfectly prepare you for your future main activity as a Junior Trader (m/f/d)
• You will get to know the company from different perspectives and understand how cross-departmental interfaces interact
• You will actively participate in projects for market expansion and development by contributing your own ideas
• You have the opportunity to work in one of our international branches for up to three months and expand your intercultural skills
• Goal-oriented and interesting projects, whether national or global, round off the trainee program

Profile

• You have a successfully completed degree in an engineering, natural science, or economic subject, ideally with a connection to raw materials, materials, geosciences, process engineering, metallurgy, recycling, or Supply Chain Management - alternatively, you have successfully completed commercial vocational training
• You are characterized by a convincing personality and strong communication skills, combined with an analytical way of working
• Ideally, you have already been able to gain initial professional experience in sales (internships, working student positions, stays abroad)
• You are fascinated by global cooperation with partners from other countries and cultures
• Your interest lies in sales and purchasing as well as in contact with customers and suppliers from all over the world
• You have very good English skills, ideally an additional foreign language
• You enjoy working in a team and are mobile and open to national and international business trips
