Head of Risk and Insurance (m/f/d) (Risk Manager)

Tasks

As Head of Insurance, you will take on a central role in the establishment and further development of the global insurance programs at tk accelis.

• You will assume technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of three employees, including further development and resource management
• You will manage external partners, including brokers, insurers, and service providers, including SLA management
• You will conduct contract and claims negotiations with various stakeholders domestically and abroad and provide both technical and strategic support for complex issues in insurance
• The observation and analysis of new risks in Materials Services and the implementation of adequate insurance solutions are part of your daily business
• Ensuring efficient workflows, prioritizing processes, resource management, as well as the preparation and presentation of decision templates to management are part of your area of responsibility
• You will actively participate in MundA projects and lead projects for the further development of methods, processes, and governance structures in insurance management

Profile

• You have a completed degree in the field of Business Administration, Law, Insurance, or a comparable qualification
• You bring several years of professional experience in the field of insurance and claims management, ideally with experience in contract negotiations
• You have been able to gain initial leadership experience and enjoy the further development of employees
• Your knowledge in the insurance sectors Property, Casualty, Transport is sound
• You are proficient in using common insurance, claims, and risk management systems
• You have business-fluent English skills in speaking and writing
• You possess assertiveness, decisiveness, strong team orientation, and a sense of responsibility
