We are a medium-sized Austrian steel trading company with around 140 employees, embedded in a globally active group. Due to strong growth in Austria, we are looking for reliable employees for the following position.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for 1 Sales Field Representative (m/f/d) in the border region of Bavaria / Western Austria in full-time, starting as soon as possible!

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Active new customer acquisition in the sales territory of Bavaria / Western Austria as well as the establishment and development of long-term customer relationships
• Support and strategic further development of our most important customers
• Answering technical requirements: consulting on material selection, processing options, and feasibility
• Quotation and price negotiations in close coordination with the inside sales department
• Market monitoring and competitive analysis

YOUR PROFILE

• Technical training (HTL, metal technology, mechanical engineering, materials technology) and/or corresponding professional experience
• Relevant experience in technical sales, ideally in the field of steel, metal processing, or mechanical engineering
• Knowledge in reading technical drawings and understanding of processing methods
• Strong communication skills, closing strength, and personal responsibility
• Profound English skills in speaking and writing
• Willingness to travel within the sales territory, driving license class B
• Ideally residing in the Bavaria / Western Austria area

We offer you a permanent employment relationship with long-term perspectives as well as comprehensive support from an experienced inside sales team. A company car is available for your activities, which can also be used for private purposes. Compensation consists of an attractive fixed salary as well as a performance-based variable component based on your personal sales success.

According to the applicable collective agreement, the monthly minimum gross salary is 2,510 to 3,447 EUR (paid 14 times a year). Depending on qualifications and professional experience, significant overpayment is intended.
