The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you could be working across a variety of educational settings, supporting pupils with a range of needs. Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning
• Supporting children with SEND and additional needs
• Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence
• Supporting pupils with their behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Adapting quickly to different schools, classrooms and pupil needs

What We're Looking For

We are keen to hear from candidates who:

• Have experience working with children or young people
• Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role
• Are patient, enthusiastic and adaptable
• Can build positive relationships with pupils
• Are confident working as part of a team
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children and their education

Experience working in a school is beneficial, but we also welcome candidates with relevant experience in SEND, childcare, care, youth work or similar environments .
