*Job Overview*

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will manage daily administrative operations, provide exceptional warm customer service, and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment.

This role requires strong computer skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. We are currently looking for a team member for Monday afternoons, with the opportunity to cover additional hours on an as needed/able basis.

Previous experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus, but not required. A basic knowledge about mental health is essential to the role.

The Office Administrator will play a key role in supporting our team and maintaining an organized, professional workspace while supporting the other admin staff.

This is the perfect position for someone who is "dipping their toe" back into work after a career change, maternity leave, or a student who needs part time work but cannot offer many hours per week. This position does have the potential for growth.

*Responsibilities*

  • Manage front desk duties including greeting clients, answering phone, and directing client calls appropriately
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, JaneApp, etc.
  • Handle systems electronically while maintaining client confidentiality
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries professionally
  • Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments & managing calendars
  • Proofread documents/emails for accuracy and clarity before distribution
  • Maintain a clean and organized office environment to promote efficiency and a friendly environment.

*Skills*

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace tools
  • Strong computer skills with experience in data entry and clerical tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Previous office experience, including front desk or administrative roles is preferred
  • Customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Experience in medical or dental office environments is advantageous but not required
  • Strong typing skills with proofreading abilities to ensure error-free documents
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
