This is a regional leadership role combining strategic implementation delivery accountability with hands-on team leadership across multiple markets. As our Regional Head of Implementations , you will lead regional implementation teams to deliver customer-focused solutions from requirements definition through to go-live and post-launch embedding, ensuring customer experience, quality and delivery excellence remain central throughout.

You will own regional delivery performance across APAC and MENA balancing strategic leadership, operational control, team development and compliance with local regulatory, cultural and market requirements. You will be accountable for consistent, high-quality delivery aligned with our commercial and operational goals, while ensuring teams are supported to deliver excellent customer outcomes at every stage of the implementation journey.

What you’ll do as Regional Head of Implementations, APAC and MENA

  • Lead project, programme and implementation delivery across the APAC and MENA regions, ensuring consistent, high-quality customer outcomes from requirements definition through to go-live and post-launch embedding.
  • Lead and develop diverse regional implementation teams across locations, cultures and time zones, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team environment.
  • Own regional delivery performance, balancing strategic leadership, operational control, commercial priorities, team development and delivery excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, suppliers, payment schemes, regulators and senior leadership, using effective influencing and negotiation skills to drive successful outcomes.
  • Adapt delivery strategies to meet regional regulatory, cultural, operational and market requirements, ensuring implementations remain compliant and effective across APAC and MENA.
  • Use data, insight and analytical thinking to identify opportunities, solve complex delivery challenges and continuously improve implementation outcomes.
  • Prioritise effectively across multiple markets and programmes, proactively managing competing demands, risks and dependencies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels, tailoring messages and approaches to different audiences, cultures and business needs.
  • Support and contribute to regional relationship-building strategies, strengthening our network and presence across key markets.
  • Travel across the region and internationally where required to support customers, teams and key business priorities.

What you’ll bring as an experienced Regional Head of Implementations APAC and MENA

  • Deep payments and cards industry expertise, with a strong understanding of authorisation, clearing, chargebacks, payment processing, key interfaces and message types, including regional differences across APAC and MENA.
  • Experience working with our APEX product
  • Strong knowledge of payment schemes and networks, including Mastercard, Visa and Discover scheme rules and processes, as well a regional scheme adaptations and local payment networks.
  • Proven regional or global implementation leadership experience, with a strong track record of successfully leading complex projects and programmes across multiple markets.
  • Strong understanding of regional markets and regulatory environments, with experience navigating cultural, operational and compliance differences across APAC, MENA and other international markets.
  • Experience leading diverse, high-performing teams across locations, cultures and time zones, with a commitment to building an inclusive, collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage, negotiate and build trusted relationships with clients, suppliers, schemes, regulators, senior leaders and boards.
  • Strong commercial, analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to use data and insight to inform decisions, manage priorities and drive continuous improvement in delivery and customer outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues, adapt messaging to different audiences and find pragmatic solutions in a fast-paced, multi-region environment.
  • A proactive, resilient and adaptable leadership approach, with the ability to work independently under pressure, manage competing priorities across multiple markets and travel internationally where required.
