What You'll Bring Experience shooting and editing social, branded content, digital content, or similar work

A portfolio or reel that demonstrates strong shooting and editing skills

Strong understanding of what makes content work on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms

Excellent editing instincts, including pacing, storytelling, hooks, music, sound design, and transitions

Comfortable shooting with professional cameras as well as phones and lightweight social production setups

Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools is a plus

Strong eye for composition, lighting, framing, and visual storytelling

Comfortable directing people who may not be professional on-camera talent

Able to work quickly and independently while collaborating closely with a broader creative team

Comfortable working across different content styles, brands, industries, and audiences

Curious about social culture and constantly paying attention to how content and storytelling are evolving online

You Might Be A Great Fit If You You’re the person who watches a Reel and notices the edit, the framing, the sound choice, and why the first two seconds worked.

You’re equally comfortable grabbing a camera and shooting something from scratch as you are taking a folder of footage and finding the story in the edit.

You understand that great social content doesn’t always need to look like a commercial — but it does need to feel intentional.

And while you’re comfortable working with creators and talent, you don’t need to be the person in front of the camera.
