QA/QC Engineer (MEP)
- Supervise and inspect MEP installation works, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and related systems.
- Ensure all site activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, project standards, and quality requirements.
- Monitor the quality of work performed by site teams and subcontractors and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and technical documents before submission.
- Prepare, review, and control Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Requests (MIR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and quality records.
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, site engineers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor outstanding defects, punch lists, and NCRs, ensuring corrective actions are completed and properly documented.
- Verify testing and commissioning records, test reports, equipment certificates, and supporting documents.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date QA/QC documentation, including inspection records, approvals, as-built drawings, and handover dossiers.
- Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports and report quality issues to the project management team.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP construction supervision or QA/QC. Strong experience in supervising and inspecting MEP installation works on-site. Good knowledge of QA/QC documentation, including ITP, MIR, IR, NCR, method statements, checklists, test reports, and handover documents. Able to read and review IFC drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, specifications, and technical submittals. Experience in Data Center, high-rise building, industrial, or large-scale construction projects is preferred. Knowledge of relevant construction codes, international standards, and ISO 9001 is an advantage. Strong documentation, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Good English communication skills. Able to work on-site and coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
