Job Description & Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of M&E disciplines and be able represent the main contractor as the M&E professional to lead the M&E subcontractors and liaise with all consultants for the project.

Job Description

  • Monitor and report on the progress of work to project manager.
  • Prepare method statements and check drawing discrepancies.
  • Carry out project planning, design, material requisition, cost control, project supervision and documentation.
  • Control the progress of RFA, RFI, Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Status for on-time completion.
  • Ensure good MEP drawing management and the control of MEP documentation/filing on site
  • Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants, and subcontractors on all technical matters, including submission of method statement, drawings, materials, samples and work progress.
  • Control site progress & installation quality as per approved Shop Drawings, Technical Submissions and Equipment/Material Procurement/Fabrication/Delivery Schedule for on-time completion.
  • Assist in supervising and coordinating MEP services work closely with other departments.
  • Assist for submission of evaluation of progress claim, variation work.
  • Participate in all relevant project review meetings, site meetings, design meetings, and other project relevant meetings. Responsible for carrying out M&E technical meetings and resolving technical issues with record.
  • Responsible for M&E drawing coordination and production of CSD and individual service drawings quality.
  • Provide and maintain all site inspection records & T&C records up to date.
  • Responsible for conducting QA/QC inspection, managing RE, RTO and responsible for clearing QA/QC inspections to meet with construction schedule.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, recognized by PE Board Singapore.
  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience related projects in Singapore building and construction industry.
  • Electrical/Mechanical Engineering experience in HDB projects or high-rise developments.
  • Possess strong Electrical/Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experiences.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate with site teams to execute work
  • Experience in design and build is an advantage
  • Use of AutoCad would be an advantage
